The Roland JWX-30 is a Wax Master Modelling milling machine specially designing and developed for jewelry master model production.  This complete jewelry model making solution comes complete with powerful design software that allows you to create detailed 3D models that clients can review from every angle. From these files, the 4‑axis desktop mill automatically produces intricate wax models of beautifully crafted rings, pendants, bracelets, brooches, earrings and cufflinks.

The JWX-30 was designed to boost your production without losing any of your creativity. The desktop mill quickly produces a wide range of wax master models for fine jewelry from your designs.  Its accuracy, detail and symmetry can far exceed the limits of human dexterity.  Powered by a high-speed 30,000 rpm spindle and 100W DC Brushless motor, the JWX-30 offers the high-speed production that jewelry makers need.

The JWX-30 JewelStudio design software automates laborious tasks such as replicating left and right earrings, and reducing model weight to meet client demands.  

JewelStudio can digitize your hand-sketches or let you quickly draw the design in the software with intuitive, step-by-step instructions.

JewelStudio comes with an extensive library of gem shapes, sizes and types. This makes it extremely easy to modify jewelry sizes or subtly alter designs. The software can also automatically place a specified number of gems on the jewelry surface in a dimensionally accurate and aesthetically pleasing way.

Roland designed the holding fixtures and clamps for use with non-proprietary, off-the-shelf ring and flat jewelry wax stock.  Designed and manufactured in Roland’s internationally acclaimed ISO-9001 and 14001 certified “Digital Factory” where quality and reliability are assured. 

The JWX-30 comes with three types of clamps:  The Tube Clamp, The Square Clamps (! Large and 1 Small) and The Swivel Clamp.

Roland's Protowizard is an optional bundle for the JWX-30. Protowizard's Jewelry CAM software and fixture package makes it easy to cut complex, finely detailed designs quickly. It steps you through the model making process.  Import STL files from any Jewelry CAD software.

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is using the Roland JWX-30 model maker to teach students the fundamentals of jewelry model making.  Students will use the JWX-30 to learn a variety of important CAD/CAM skills, including how to produce precise finished wax models for virtually all types of jewelry.
